Stockmoor & Wilstock Timebank

Making time for each other

'Litter Heroes' Community Clean Up Hour - Saturday 18th February

What a fabulous turn out we had on Saturday - lots of children gave up an hour of their half term to help tidy our community.

Our next 'Litter Heroes' date will be announced soon.

Our 'Litter Heroes' cleared all this rubbish on 18th February!

Who are we?

Stockmoor & Wilstock Timebank operates for the benefit of all residents of Wilstock & Stockmoor Villages in the parish of North Petherton, just south of Bridgwater in Somerset.

We arrange meetings, projects and events to help create a social network of people in our growing community. People who may not otherwise meet up, have opportunities to come together, receive support from each other and form connections and friendships, using a Timebank model to encourage volunteering.

Part of our misson is to create opportunities for our residents to support people within our community who are affected by issues which make them more vulnerable - special focus is on young families, unemployed and people suffering illness or loneliness.

The majority of the work we do is carried out by volunteers who generously give their time to help others in our community.
